Whether you’re here to compete, learn, or simply play for fun, we offer something for everyone. Enjoy weekly club games, participate in tailored classes for beginners to experts, or take your game to the next level with private coaching.
At MKE Chess, we believe chess brings people together and inspires mutual learning. Join our community and experience the joy of the game!
MKE Chess Scholastic Chess Club
FREE weekly K-8 Scholastic Chess Club from 6-8pm where kids can come play and make friends with others from the community while learning the game of kings and queens!
Free 15-30 minute lectures with chess coach Edgar Talayko.
Up to 20 sets will be provided, but bringing your own is recommended!
Snacks and refreshments are provided.

Chess at the Park!
A free family-friendly chess Potluck! Come down to Humboldt Park and bring your favorite foods and drinks, and play chess to get to know others in the community!
Casual games are free to play and welcome to all levels and ages!
The event is on Sunday, June 7th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
We'll be located in the back picnic tables at The Vine Beer Garden in the center of Humboldt Park.
